THE SHOP @SMU

The Shop opened in November 2018 in Fondren Library, and provides non-perishable food items and basic essentials at no cost to current SMU students who are experiencing food insecurity.

The Shop is stocked with food and gift card donations from various SMU campus organizations, local high school and community groups, and with funds provided by the SMU Mothers’ and Dads’ Club.  There are plans for expansion over the next few years with sponsorship by the North Texas Food Bank, possible access to refrigerated items, and partnership with additional campus and community groups to coordinate food drives/donations.

For questions or more information, email deanofstudents@smu.edu. You may also e-mail momsanddads@smu.edu.

Donations are always welcomed.
